We are the Parcours team of the winter semester 2025/26.
Together with Prof. Alexander Sander, we set the MSD in motion.
At the beginning of the cold, dark semester, one thing in particular was on our minds: finding orientation. Before we could present Parcours to the outside world, we first had to define it for ourselves.
In several workshops, we approached the project together: What would Parcours look like as a person? How would it move? What kind of music would Parcours listen to? Surprisingly quickly, we found common ground.
An early sign of how well we functioned as a team. Based on this foundation, the first concept pitches followed. One moment in particular has stayed with us:
Two groups independently presented almost the exact same idea. This moment showed how effective our preparatory work had been and how closely aligned we already were as a team.
From these initial approaches, it became clear what Parcours means to us: movement. Our guiding principle was born —
Let Parcours move you.
Parcours is movement, and it moves others at the same time. It is a space of transformation that never stands still, constantly changing, adapting, and remaining flexible. MOVE represents the core of Parcours: departure, change, and transition.
We consistently translated this understanding of movement into our entire design system. The photoshoots with the graduates were a particular highlight for everyone. With a great deal of energy, openness, and fun, visual material emerged that not only shows movement but also conveys attitude. Along the way, we realized that design students are apparently far more athletic than one might expect.
Through the extensive feedback from the graduates, we hope to have created a Parcours theme they can truly identify with.
At the same time, communication with the outside world began. An Instagram countdown gradually revealed our MOVE logo, accompanied by our signature color palette of six bold colors. Each color stands for dynamism, diversity, and change, reflecting the different paths that Parcours brings together.
Step by step, what had previously existed only as a concept became visible — online, in space, and on paper.
The catalog, posters, and merchandise also became part of this process. Everything connected, everything stayed in motion. Parcours became tangible.
Throughout the entire semester, we felt very well supported through our collaboration with Alex. His experience-based input, openness, and trust in our decisions repeatedly helped us find the right path. For this, we would like to sincerely thank him.
A very special thanks also goes to Lara, our tutor. She had a solution for almost every situation — whether it was a template, a contact, a phone number, or simply a listening ear. Her support was constant, reliable, and immensely valuable. In the truest sense of the word, she always had our backs.
Parcours showed us that design can take on many forms. It can be concrete and tangible while also being fluid, adaptable, and sometimes hard to define — just like movement itself. Not only was the design set in motion, but so were we as students. Within our small in-house agency, we were able to play to our strengths, take responsibility, and grow where we had to venture into new territory.
We learned to teach ourselves, to work as a team, and to move through processes together.
Looking back, Parcours was more than just a project for us. It was a process, a learning space, and a shared movement. And that is exactly what we take with us. Let Parcours move you.
