Young people are becoming increasingly perfectionist. Therefore, after many failed New Year's resolutions, I want to be less perfectionist and really make a change this year.
How to be an imperfect perfectionist
A slightly different workbook
My project is for anyone who is tired of letting perfectionism spoil their mood. Maybe it's
okay to be who we are – and maybe we just need to learn how to deal with it. That's why I
created my workbook, which combines knowledge and examples with creative and
journaling tasks. On the one hand, it helps to educate people about perfectionism, its
causes and how to deal with it. At the same time, it offers an open space: it invites you
to recognise your own patterns, take away inspiration and try out small exercises that
enable more ease, personal reflection and creative development. The biggest challenge
for me as a perfectionist was to work on a project that questions exactly this aspiration.
In the design process, I learned to allow imperfection and would like to ask others to do
the same.
