My photographic project “Der Vierte Raum“ (literally “The fourth room”) documents and 
interrogates experiences, impressions, and behaviours on the threshold of adulthood in times of 
uncertainty. For me, "der vierte Raum" symbolizes an “in-between”. In-between reality, perception, 
projection, and fiction; between subjectivity and objectivity. I seek to transfer intuitive automatisms from the subconscious into a conscious and reflective context in order to offer insights for individual agency and self-understanding.
Within „Der Vierte Raum“, I engage methodically with my own perception and thought processes.
My project aims to open conceptual spaces for viewers, sharpen their gaze, and encourage 
reflection. I want to heighten awareness of intangible and abstract, yet equally real and 
relevant dynamics that shape our contemporary social and cultural context.
